Oman Participates in Doha Legal Forum
The Sultanate of Oman is participating in the Doha Legal Forum, which is being held in Doha, State of Qatar, with the attendance of ministers of justice, legal scholars, policymakers and experts from various countries around the world.
Oman’s delegation is led by Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Saidi, Minister of Justice and Legal Affairs, reflecting the Sultanate’s commitment to engaging in international legal dialogue and exchanging expertise in the field of law and justice.
Held over two days under the theme “Emerging Trends and Forward-Looking Insights”, the forum seeks to highlight legislative and regulatory frameworks governing key economic sectors, and to examine their role in providing a safe, transparent and attractive environment for investment and development.
The forum addresses the latest legislative, judicial and academic developments within the framework of Qatari law, alongside comparative legal systems. It aims to contribute to the development of a more efficient and transparent legislative and judicial environment, strengthening confidence in the justice system and enhancing the competitiveness of national economies.
