The 30th anniversary of the Dubai World Cup is set to make history this Saturday, March 28, as the prestigious race reaches a record-breaking global audience through 40 broadcasters across more than 150 countries.

Held at the iconic Meydan Racecourse, the milestone edition highlights not only the evolution of the event over three decades but also its growing influence as one of the world’s premier horse racing spectacles.

Organized by the Dubai Racing Club, the event’s extensive international reach has been secured in collaboration with Racecourse Media Group (RMG) and global rights agency HBA Media. Together, they have delivered the widest broadcast distribution in the race’s history, reinforcing Dubai’s position on the global sporting stage.

RMG, working alongside Timeline Television, is providing full-scale broadcast production, including the World Feed program. Coverage will be fronted by renowned presenters Nick Luck in Dubai and Rishi Persad from a UK-based studio, ensuring a seamless viewing experience for audiences worldwide.

A wide network of leading broadcasters will carry the race across continents. These include ITV in the UK, alongside global sports giants such as Fox Sports, ESPN, and Disney+ across the Americas. In Europe, viewers can tune in via Viaplay and Setanta Sports, among others.

In the Middle East, live coverage will be available on Dubai Racing Channel and Yas TV, both broadcasting directly from Meydan. Meanwhile, audiences in Asia can access the race through platforms such as Green Channel, AbemaTV, and NetKeiba, while viewers in Hong Kong will be served by channels operated by the Hong Kong Jockey Club.

Beyond traditional television, the Dubai World Cup is expanding its reach through innovative distribution channels. Sport 24 will stream the event on selected airlines and cruise ships, including those operated by Emirates, allowing audiences to watch the race even while traveling. Additionally, CNN International will feature the event on its World Sport program, while highlights will be distributed globally by Reuters.

Speaking ahead of the event, His Excellency Ali Al Ali, CEO of Dubai Racing Club, described the 30th running of the Dubai World Cup as a defining moment for both Dubai and international horse racing. He emphasized that the record-breaking broadcast reach reflects the event’s global stature and the exceptional caliber of horses it attracts each year.

Seb Vance, Director of International TV Distribution at RMG, echoed these sentiments, noting that the strong commitment from broadcasters worldwide underlines the race’s reputation as a premier fixture on the global racing calendar.

With multiple viewing options available, including the World Feed, a customizable Track Feed, and a dedicated 90-minute program featuring both the Dubai World Cup and the Dubai Sheema Classic, the event is set to deliver an immersive experience for fans across the globe.

As the Dubai World Cup celebrates its 30th edition, the race continues to showcase not only elite competition but also Dubai’s ability to host world-class sporting events that captivate audiences worldwide.
