Aneesa Al Mahmood to Represent Bahrain at FEI Asian Championships 2025 Under Support of HH Shaikha Noora

Under the support of Her Highness Shaikha Noora bint Hamad Al Khalifa, Captain of Al Fursan Team, Bahraini dressage rider Aneesa Al Mahmood is preparing to represent the Kingdom of Bahrain at the FEI Asian Championships 2025 in Thailand. The initiative reflects Her Highness’ dedication to empowering emerging Bahraini equestrian talent and enhancing their presence on major international stages.

HH Shaikha Noora affirmed that the support extends from the vision of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, and His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, President of the General Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee. She noted that advancing Bahraini equestrian sport and ensuring strong representation in global events remain key priorities. Her Highness wished Al Mahmood success in her championship journey, emphasising that nurturing young riders is fundamental to the sport’s development.

Aneesa Al Mahmood is widely regarded as one of Bahrain’s promising dressage talents, having maintained consistent performances in international competitions. She was selected to compete in the Asian Championship with her horse, Handsome (Tuschinski), making her one of the youngest riders participating in this major continental event.

Al Mahmood has competed in CDI Hartpury and CDI Hagen events and has demonstrated steady progress in domestic competitions in the Netherlands, showcasing her readiness to build a strong professional career. She expressed her deep appreciation to HH Shaikha Noora bint Hamad Al Khalifa for her continuous support and close follow-up throughout her preparations, reaffirming her determination to achieve positive results for Bahrain.
