Shaikha Shaima appointed head of humanitarian volunteer initiatives at Royal Humanitarian Foundation
With the blessing of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa has appointed HH Shaikha Shaima bint Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa as Head of Humanitarian Volunteer Initiatives at the Royal Humanitarian Foundation.
Shaikh Nasser, who serves as Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the foundation, highlighted that the appointment aligns with the foundation’s strategic vision to empower young national leaders.
He noted that the move reflects a continued commitment to expanding impactful humanitarian initiatives that promote volunteerism, innovation, and a strong sense of community responsibility.
The Royal Humanitarian Foundation has long played a central role in advancing charitable and social development programs in Bahrain. By appointing Shaikha Shaima to lead volunteer initiatives, the foundation aims to further energize youth participation and encourage creative approaches to humanitarian service.
