The General Directorate of Passports and Nationality will generally operate from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Sunday to Thursday.

Under Traffic and Licensing Services, the Main Traffic and Technical Inspection departments will operate from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Driver licensing schools will function from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM. External service branches will be open from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Plate manufacturing working hours will vary by location, typically from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with some branches closing at 12:00 PM on Saturdays.

The Criminal Evidence and Information Department will operate from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Prosecution services related to public and residence affairs will generally function from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with additional evening hours from 9:00 PM to 1:00 AM, Sunday to Thursday. Evening service hours will apply primarily to public service sections.

For general government employees across Qatar, official Ramadan working hours are typically set from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with flexibility allowing for a five-hour workday in line with public sector regulations.

The updated schedule aims to balance efficient service delivery with the spiritual observance of Ramadan while ensuring that essential security and public services remain fully accessible to residents and citizens.
