King Fahd Causeway Announces New Toll Rates Effective February 2026
The General Organization of the King Fahd Causeway has announced updated one-way toll rates that will come into effect on 18 February 2026, as part of ongoing efforts to enhance services and improve the overall travel experience between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Under the revised fee structure, cars and motorcycles will be charged 35 Saudi riyals (3.500 BD) per crossing, while minibuses will pay 55 riyals (5.500 BD). Large buses will be subject to a toll of 70 riyals (7.000 BD), and trucks will be charged 7 riyals (700 fils) per ton, reflecting a weight-based pricing model.
The Authority confirmed that exemptions and special rates for students, people with disabilities, and daily commuters will remain unchanged, ensuring continued support for frequent and eligible travelers.
To further streamline the border-crossing process, travelers are encouraged to use the eTraffic and Jesr applications, which allow users to issue insurance policies and complete electronic payments in advance, helping reduce waiting times and improve traffic flow across the causeway.
