Indian School Bahrain Enters Golden Book of Records With Triple World Records
The Indian School, Bahrain (ISB) Junior Wing etched its name into the Golden Book of World Records (GBWR) on 15 December 2025 during its grand Bahrain National Day celebrations held at the Riffa campus. Coinciding with the school’s Platinum Jubilee year, the event transformed the campus into a striking sea of red and white, symbolising pride and patriotism for the Kingdom of Bahrain.
In a spectacular display of unity and coordination, more than 3,500 students participated in a massive human formation of Bahrain’s national flag. The celebrations culminated in the achievement of three world records in a single day: the largest human depiction of a national flag, the most people saluting the national flag simultaneously, and the most people chanting a slogan in three languages.
A total of 3,700 students from the Primary and Kindergarten sections, supported by teaching and non-teaching staff, took part in the historic formation. The students chanted powerful slogans including Aashath-Al Bahrain (Arabic – Long Live Bahrain), We Love Bahrain, and Humara Bahrain Mahaan, reflecting unity, gratitude, and respect for the nation that they proudly call home.
The momentous occasion was attended by ministry officials and ISB dignitaries, including Hon. Chairman Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese, Hon. Secretary V. Rajapandian, Hon. Vice-Chairman and Hon. Member – Sports Dr. Mohammed Faizal, Junior Wing Principal Pamela Xavier, Principal VR Palaniswamy, and Senior School and Academic Administration Vice-Principal G. Satheesh. The programme featured flag hoisting, the national anthem, recitation from the Holy Quran, cultural performances, and a balloon release, with Head Boy Fabyon Franco Francis and Head Girl Lakshita Rohit addressing the gathering.
The triple world records were officially announced by Dr. Manish Kumar Vishnoei, Asia Head of the Golden Book of World Records. The historic achievement highlighted Indian School Bahrain’s commitment to nurturing national pride, unity, and cultural respect from a young age, adding a remarkable milestone to its Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
