UAE: Global Village to Host Seven New Year Countdowns and Fireworks in One Night for 2026

Global Village is set to welcome 2026 with a spectacular and truly global New Year’s Eve celebration, offering visitors the rare opportunity to experience seven New Year countdowns from different countries in a single night. The popular family-friendly destination in Dubai has also announced extended operating hours for the occasion.

On Wednesday, December 31, Global Village will open its gates from 4pm until 2am, transforming the venue into a hub of international festivities. The evening will feature a live DJ on the Main Stage, seven dazzling fireworks and drone displays, and a wide range of cultural entertainment suitable for all ages.

The special event, titled “7 New Year Celebrations in One Night,” allows guests to ring in the New Year across multiple time zones. The countdown schedule is as follows: China at 8pm, Thailand at 9pm, Bangladesh at 10pm, India at 10.30pm, Pakistan at 11pm, Dubai at midnight, and Turkey at 1am. Each countdown will be marked by synchronized fireworks and drone shows, creating a seamless global celebration throughout the night.

Beyond the countdowns, visitors can immerse themselves in Global Village’s rich cultural offerings, including 30 pavilions representing over 90 cultures. Guests can shop at more than 3,500 retail outlets and choose from over 250 dining options across popular destinations such as the Floating Market, Happiness Street, Fiesta Street, and the Dessert District.

Families and thrill-seekers can also enjoy over 200 rides and games at Carnaval, along with new attractions such as Dragon Kingdom, Gardens of the World, and The Little Wonderers, specially designed for younger visitors.
