Ford Unveils 2026 Everest V6 and All-New Tremor at Liwa International Festival

BAHRAIN-  Ford Middle East and North Africa has officially unveiled the 2026 Ford Everest at the Liwa International Festival, introducing a powerful Middle East-exclusive V6 engine and the region’s newest off-road-focused variant, the Everest Tremor. The reveal took place before a large audience of festivalgoers and off-road enthusiasts, reinforcing Ford’s long-standing connection with the region’s adventure-driven community.

Headlining the launch is the 2.7-liter V6 EcoBoost engine, developed specifically to meet the demands of Middle Eastern driving conditions. Producing 355 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque, and paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, the new powertrain delivers strong on-road performance and confident off-road capability. These figures position the Everest among the most powerful contenders in its segment.

“The unveiling of the 2026 Ford Everest marks a new chapter for Ford in the region under our ‘Ready. Set. Ford.’ direction,” said Ravi Ravichandran, President of Ford Middle East and North Africa. He added that the new Everest reflects customer expectations for a modern SUV that balances everyday comfort, advanced technology, and serious capability across city roads, highways, and desert terrain.

The 2026 Everest lineup expands to include the Active, Sport, Platinum, and the newly introduced Tremor variants, offering customers greater choice and broader access to V6 performance across the range.

Making its regional debut, the Everest Tremor is engineered as a dedicated off-road variant for adventure-focused drivers. Key upgrades include 17-inch all-terrain tires for enhanced traction and a Bilstein suspension system designed to improve durability and ride comfort on challenging trails. The Everest Tremor joins Ford’s growing Tremor family in the Middle East, alongside the F-150 Tremor and Expedition Tremor, extending rugged capability to family-oriented SUVs.

Ford also used the Liwa platform to introduce its new regional brand identity, “Ready. Set. Ford.” More than a slogan, the identity reflects Ford’s belief that life is an adventure and underscores its focus on delivering vehicles designed for real-world needs and diverse environments.

Ford’s presence at the Liwa International Festival highlights more than 40 years of commitment to the Middle East, showcasing a continued focus on engineering vehicles capable of handling everything from urban commutes to demanding off-road landscapes.
