Amir of Qatar Attends as Carlos Alcaraz Wins Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2026

The Amir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, was in attendance as Carlos Alcaraz lifted the golden falcon trophy after a commanding straight-sets victory over France’s Arthur Fils in the final of the Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2026.

The match took place at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex in Doha, where Alcaraz secured the 26th singles title of his professional career with a dominant performance.

The prestigious trophy was presented by Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, president of the Olympic Council of Asia and head of the Qatar Olympic Committee. Also present at the ceremony was Nasser Al-Khelaifi, president of Paris Saint-Germain F.C. (PSG).

The tournament once again highlighted Doha’s growing reputation as a global sporting hub, attracting elite athletes and prominent international figures for one of the region’s leading ATP events.
