SkyView Returns to Dubai Airshow 2025 With Festival Fun and World-Class Aviation

SkyView is officially returning to the Dubai Airshow 2025, bringing with it five days of festival energy, aerospace marvels, and family-focused fun. From 17–21 November at Dubai World Central (DWC), the Dubai Airshow Site will transform into a high-octane celebration of aviation, science, and entertainment that’s open to the public. With 20,000 visitors expected over five thrilling days, SkyView has earned its place as the UAE’s largest public aviation experience, and 2025 promises to be its biggest edition yet.

SkyView is not just about watching aircraft it’s about experiencing aviation like never before. Spectators will be treated to jaw-dropping flying displays from military jets, commercial airliners, eVTOLs, UAVs, helicopters and more. Each day, 5,000 guests will fill the grandstand to witness high-speed, high-skill aerial performances from some of the world’s most cutting-edge aircraft. For those seeking extra comfort and the best views in the house, VIP ticket holders can enjoy fast-track entry and access to a dedicated lounge overlooking the airshow.

On the ground, the atmosphere is electric with a full-blown festival offering something for every age group. From interactive games and giveaways to main stage entertainment, families can dive into hours of hands-on fun. The Street Food Alley will keep food lovers satisfied with a curated mix of global flavours, while sponsors and partners like Sprayground, Fidu Properties, Dubai Duty Free, Green Line Power, Kibsons, Virgin Megastore, Stanley, Garmin, JIMMY, and AMIT Care will host immersive brand activations to further elevate the visitor experience. Meanwhile, the UAE Ministry of Defence will provide an up-close look at military aircraft and aviation technology in action.

One of this year’s biggest artistic highlights comes from Sprayground, whose founder David Ben-David is unveiling a one-of-a-kind 11-meter gold helicopter art installation, connected to a six-meter branded pop-up store. Combining art, fashion, and travel in one stunning visual, the installation is a powerful tribute to creativity and innovation in the world of aviation.

SkyView 2025 will also play host to some of the most inspiring figures in modern space exploration. Astronaut meet-and-greets will give the public the rare opportunity to connect with real space travelers, including Rabea Rogge, the first German woman in space; Claude Nicollier, the first Swiss astronaut; and Sian Proctor, the first African-American woman commercial spacecraft pilot. Sharing their personal stories from orbit and offering insights into the future of spaceflight, these sessions promise to be unforgettable for space enthusiasts of all ages.

Dr. Sian Proctor, who made history as the pilot of SpaceX’s Inspiration4 mission in 2021, expressed her excitement about attending the Dubai Airshow for the first time. She praised the event’s focus on inclusive space exploration and said she looks forward to connecting with young leaders through the NextGen initiative, as well as engaging with the public during her scheduled appearances throughout the week.

Education also takes center stage at SkyView through a comprehensive STEM programme designed for students aged 8–17. In partnership with One Giant Leap Middle East, the curriculum includes rocket-making workshops, astronaut-training activities, and interactive learning modules aligned with STEM subjects. Thousands of school students are expected to participate through organized field trips, combining classroom learning with real-world science and innovation in the most exciting environment possible.

Further blending education with entertainment, SkyView will host a theatre adaptation of Around the World in 80 Days, produced by h2 productions and Outside The Box Events. This reimagined version of Jules Verne’s classic adventure story is designed as a Theatre in Education performance, aligning with school curricula and incorporating themes of aviation, sustainability, science, and geography. It offers students a multi-disciplinary experience that connects literature with real-world innovation and the UAE’s growing role in global aviation.
