Turkish Airlines to Launch Double Daily Abu Dhabi–Istanbul Flights from October 2025

Turkish Airlines, the global carrier that flies to more countries than any other airline, is set to strengthen its operations in the United Arab Emirates with the launch of double daily flights between Abu Dhabi and Istanbul, starting October 26, 2025.

The move will increase the airline’s frequency from ten to fourteen weekly flights, providing travellers with greater flexibility and enhanced connectivity across Turkish Airlines’ extensive global network of more than 350 destinations worldwide.

With the introduction of the new schedule, passengers from Abu Dhabi will enjoy two convenient daily departure options, offering seamless access not only to Istanbul but also to a wide range of international destinations via the airline’s Istanbul hub, one of the world’s premier global transit gateways.

The new daily flight schedule (local times) is as follows:

• TK869: Depart Abu Dhabi (AUH) at 1:35 a.m. → Arrive Istanbul (IST) at 5:30 a.m.

• TK867: Depart Abu Dhabi (AUH) at 7:55 a.m. → Arrive Istanbul (IST) at 12:10 p.m.

This service expansion comes as Turkish Airlines marks its 44th year of operations in the UAE, underscoring the carrier’s deep-rooted commitment to connecting the Emirates with the rest of the world.

Fares for the Abu Dhabi–Istanbul route will start from AED 950 (USD 259), offering travellers an attractive and convenient way to explore Türkiye or connect to destinations across Europe, Asia, and beyond.

With this latest development, Turkish Airlines continues to reinforce its position as a key player in regional air connectivity bridging continents and strengthening cultural and economic ties between the UAE and Türkiye.
