Saudi Darts Masters 2026 To Offer Record $200,000 Prize For Nine-Dart Finish
Saudi Arabia is set to make darts history by offering the largest prize ever for a nine-dart finish, with a reward of up to $200,000 during the Saudi Darts Masters 2026, according to an announcement by Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA).
The tournament will take place on January 19–20, 2026, at the Global Theater in Boulevard City, as part of Riyadh Season, and will feature some of the world’s top darts stars in matches broadcast to a global audience.
Under the newly announced prize structure, any player who lands a perfect nine-dart finish during the tournament will immediately earn $100,000. The player will then have the opportunity to double the prize to $200,000 through the Riyadh Season Bullseye challenge, where they will be given a single dart to hit the bullseye. If successful, the total payout will become the largest prize of its kind in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) history.
The Saudi Darts Masters will follow a two-day format, featuring eight elite PDC players competing against eight of Asia’s leading darts players, highlighting the tournament’s growing international profile.
The PDC lineup includes reigning world champion Luke Littler, who famously achieved a nine-dart finish during the World Series event in Bahrain in 2024, alongside Luke Humphries (2023–2024 world champion), Gian van Veen (world championship runner-up), three-time world champion Michael van Gerwen, former world champion Gerwyn Price, world No. 7 Stephen Bunting, former UK Open champion Danny Noppert, and Nathan Aspinall, the 2023 World Matchplay champion.
Asia’s representatives feature a mix of legends and rising stars, led by Paul Lim of Singapore, who recorded the first televised nine-dart finish in darts history in 1990. He will be joined by Filipino players Alexis Toylo, Lourence Ilagan, and Paolo Nebrida, Japanese players Motomu Sakai, Ryusei Azemoto, and Tomoya Goto, as well as Man Lok Leung from Hong Kong.
