Saudi Arabia Calls for Urgent De-escalation Following U.S. Strikes on Iranian Nuclear Sites

Saudi Arabia has voiced deep concern over the recent U.S. military strikes targeting Iranian nuclear facilities, emphasizing the urgent need for de-escalation in the region. In a statement released by the Saudi Foreign Ministry, the Kingdom underscored the importance of restraint and diplomacy to avoid further instability in the Middle East.
The Ministry called on all parties involved to refrain from actions that could worsen the crisis and urged the prioritization of diplomatic channels to resolve the conflict. “Escalation only increases the risk to regional security,” the statement noted.
Reiterating its previous position, Saudi Arabia condemned any actions that violate the sovereignty of Iran, stressing that such moves threaten the broader goal of regional peace. The Kingdom highlighted that maintaining regional stability is essential for the safety and prosperity of all nations in the Gulf and beyond.
The Saudi government also appealed to the international community to intensify diplomatic efforts and pursue a political solution to the crisis. It stated that only through cooperation, dialogue, and mutual respect can a sustainable peace be achieved.
