Saudi Arabia Launches ‘Spears of Victory 2026’ Multinational Military Exercise

Saudi Arabia is set to host the multinational “Spears of Victory 2026” military exercise, led by the Royal Saudi Air Force, beginning Sunday at the Air Warfare Centre in the Kingdom’s Eastern Region. The exercise will run from January 18 through February 5, bringing together regional and international military forces in one of the most comprehensive joint drills in the region.

The exercise reflects ongoing efforts to strengthen military cooperation, enhance joint operational integration, and improve combat readiness among participating forces. It will involve multiple branches of Saudi Arabia’s armed forces, the Ministry of National Guard, the Presidency of State Security, and the Unified Military Command of the Gulf Cooperation Council, alongside allied regional and international partners.

“Spears of Victory 2026” aims to foster the exchange of expertise in operational planning and execution while unifying the concept of joint military action. Participating forces will focus on countering current and emerging threats, advancing tactical and operational capabilities, and promoting coordinated multi-domain strategies.

Joint and combined tactical operations will be carried out in a highly advanced electronic warfare environment, simulating realistic combat scenarios. These operations are designed to enhance interoperability and develop unified air operations across multiple domains in line with modern warfare requirements.

The Air Warfare Centre, one of the most advanced training facilities in the region, provides a sophisticated and realistic operational environment. Its capabilities support the development, testing, and evaluation of combat readiness, reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s role as a key hub for regional and international defense cooperation.
