Hatta Honey Festival Returns to Promote Agri-Tourism and Local Produce

Dubai: The Hatta Honey Festival is back as part of Dubai Municipality’s #HattaWinter initiative, promoting local farming, small businesses, and rural tourism in the scenic Hatta mountains. The free event runs until December 31, 2025, at Hatta Hall, welcoming families, food enthusiasts, and visitors interested in exploring Hatta’s natural environment and agricultural traditions.

The festival provides a platform for Emirati beekeepers and small businesses to showcase and sell their products, with over 50 indoor stalls for honey producers and 10 outdoor stalls for family-run ventures. Visitors can enjoy food trucks, live performances, workshops, children’s play zones, and community spaces, making it a family-friendly winter destination.

A special highlight this year is the participation of the Dubai Central Laboratory, which demonstrates honey quality and safety testing using advanced infrared technology. Dubai Municipality will also introduce a new digital identity system for Emirati honey, allowing consumers to verify product type, origin, and quality.

Officials say the festival reflects Dubai’s commitment to sustainable tourism, supporting local producers, and fostering long-term opportunities for farmers and small businesses, while ensuring high standards of product quality and consumer trust.
