China has taken a monumental step in artificial intelligence and automation by opening its first robot school in Hangzhou. The innovative facility is designed to train machines to join the active workforce across various demanding industries, including healthcare, security, customer service, entertainment, and manufacturing.
The school's inaugural class consists of 30 robots. Before officially "graduating," these machines undergo rigorous physical assessments, specialized courses in subjects like medicine and the arts, and final skills certification to ensure they are fully prepared for real-world tasks.
• Empowering Robot Brains: "Our main goal is to empower robots' brains, enabling them to successfully transition into the workforce," said Zhao Han, a representative from the robot school.
