Bahrain Underscores Shared Economic Vision With Pakistan at High-Level Reception

Bahrain reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening economic ties with Pakistan during a high-level reception that highlighted the Kingdom’s long-term development strategy. Minister of Finance and National Economy Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa underscored Bahrain’s forward-looking approach, noting that the Kingdom views Pakistan as a key partner in shaping a prosperous shared future. “As Bahrain advances Vision 2030 and lays the foundation for 2050, we see Pakistan as a partner for a shared economic future,” he stated, emphasizing the alignment of strategic priorities between both nations.
The reception was hosted by Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa in honor of Pakistan’s Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, who was warmly received by senior Bahraini officials. The gathering reflected the depth of the historic relationship between Bahrain and Pakistan, while also providing a platform to explore new avenues of cooperation across economic, investment and development sectors. The event further underscored the strong diplomatic and people-to-people ties that continue to guide the partnership forward.
