Bahrain Announces Lane Closure on Dry Dock Street From January 10
The Ministry of Works, in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic at the Ministry of Interior, has announced a temporary lane closure on Dry Dock Street as part of ongoing infrastructure maintenance works.
According to the announcement, maintenance on Bapco oil pipelines will require the closure of the left lane of the left-turning lanes from Dry Dock Street to Street 13, in the direction of Khalifa Bin Salman Port. Despite the closure, one left-turn lane will remain open to ensure the continued flow of traffic.
The works are scheduled to begin on Saturday, January 10, 2026, and are expected to last for approximately three weeks. Authorities have confirmed that the measures are necessary to carry out the maintenance safely and efficiently.
Motorists using the affected route are advised to plan their journeys in advance, adhere to traffic regulations, and exercise caution while driving through the area. The relevant authorities have emphasized that cooperation from road users is essential to maintain safety during the construction period.
