Jayden Price Powers into Semi-Finals at USA Boxing National Open
Bahraini boxer Jayden Price has secured his place in the semi-finals of the boys’ intermediate 46kg division at the 2025 USA Boxing National Open in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Representing Bahrain’s national boxing team, Jayden delivered an impressive performance in the quarter-finals, defeating American opponent Jesse Valenzuela by unanimous decision (5-0). Four judges scored the match 29-26, with the fifth giving it 28-27, reflecting Jayden's dominance in the ring.
The USA Boxing National Open attracts elite youth fighters from around the world, offering valuable experience and exposure. Jayden is now set to face another American, Christian Rollins, in the semi-finals. A victory would earn him a spot in the title fight, where he could potentially meet either Silas Rollins or Ahlon Lewis in the final.
Bahrain Boxing Federation (BBF) president Rashid Feleyfel praised Jayden’s performance and highlighted the importance of such international tournaments in elevating the skills of Bahraini athletes. He emphasized the continued support of Bahrain’s sports leadership, particularly Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, whose guidance has enabled consistent development in combat sports across the Kingdom.
The BBF remains committed to nurturing local boxing talent through international competitions, intensive training programs, and strategic investments in youth development laying the foundation for Bahrain’s growing presence on the global boxing stage.
