Bahrain Set to Host 3rd Asian Youth Games 2025 for the First Time

Manama, Bahrain, The Kingdom of Bahrain is set to make history as it proudly hosts the 3rd Asian Youth Games from October 22 to 31, 2025 the first time the event will be held in the country.

Taking place under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Games will welcome thousands of young athletes from across Asia, competing in 11 diverse sports over ten days of spirited competition and cultural exchange.

In a historic first for the event, the opening ceremony will be held indoors, reflecting Bahrain’s investment in world-class venues and modern technological infrastructure. The innovative ceremony aims to set a new standard for multi-sport events in the region.

This milestone event not only highlights the athletic excellence and talent of Asia’s youth, but also cements Bahrain’s status as a leading hub for international sporting events, furthering its commitment to youth development, hospitality, and global cooperation.
