Anant Ambani has been honoured with the prestigious Global Humanitarian Award for Animal Welfare by the Global Humane Society, becoming the youngest and first Asian recipient of this distinguished accolade. The award presented at a ceremony held in Washington, D.C. in December 2025 recognises his exceptional leadership and commitment to animal protection and wildlife conservation.

Ambani received the award in acknowledgment of his role in founding “Vantara (Star of the Forest)”, a wildlife conservation and animal rescue initiative that has made significant strides in safeguarding endangered species and promoting ecological harmony. The initiative reflects his passion for protecting vulnerable animal populations and enhancing biodiversity through innovative rescue operations, habitat restoration and community engagement.

At the ceremony, leaders and activists from around the world lauded Ambani’s efforts, highlighting how Vantara has brought global attention to critical animal welfare issues and set new standards for humane conservation practices.
