‘The Wild Robot,’ ‘The Daily Show’ Among Big Winners at 35th Environmental Media Awards

The 35th annual Environmental Media Association (EMA) Awards took center stage on Saturday night, honoring the most environmentally impactful film and television projects of the year. Held at the Radford Studio Center in Los Angeles, the star-studded ceremony celebrated both on-screen storytelling and behind-the-scenes sustainability efforts.
Hosted by reality TV personalities Ariana Madix and Harry Jowsey, the evening spotlighted standout winners including The Wild Robot, The Daily Show, Grey’s Anatomy, The Americas, and Common Side Effects. These projects were praised not only for their compelling narratives but also for their commitment to eco-conscious production practices.
A highlight of the night was actor and climate advocate Rainn Wilson receiving the EMA Ongoing Commitment Award, recognizing his years of environmental activism and support for climate-focused initiatives. The event also featured a live performance by Shawn Stockman of Boyz II Men and was executive produced by Lance Bass.
The red carpet saw an impressive lineup of stars, including Malin Åkerman, Miranda Cosgrove, Wendie Malick, Selma Blair, Kathy Griffin, Nikki Reed, Ashlee Simpson, and Evan Ross. EMA CEO Debbie Levin led the celebrations, reinforcing the organization’s mission to inspire green leadership through entertainment.
