UAE petrol prices for January 2026 are set to be announced soon, and motorists may be in line for a modest drop at the pump. Global oil prices remained relatively subdued throughout December, raising expectations of potential marginal relief after December’s fuel price increase.
Brent crude averaged around $61.51 per barrel in December, marking a decline compared to November levels. This softening comes despite ongoing geopolitical tensions that continue to influence global energy markets. The lower monthly average has fueled cautious optimism among drivers across the UAE.
As the UAE adjusts fuel prices monthly in line with international oil rates, any sustained easing in global prices typically translates into slight reductions domestically. While major cuts are unlikely, even a small decrease would be welcomed by motorists amid fluctuating fuel costs.
