Travis Scott’s Debut Delhi Concert to See 3,400 Security Personnel Deployed Over Two Days

Preparations are in full swing for American rap superstar Travis Scott’s debut concert in India, with the artist set to perform at Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on October 18 and 19 as part of his CIRCUS MAXIMUS World Tour. The high-profile event has drawn massive attention, not only for the performer’s star power but also for the scale of logistics and security being put in place.
According to ANI, over 3,400 security personnel will be deployed across the two-day event, including 1,600 private security staff and between 1,200 to 1,800 Delhi Police officers. Authorities have confirmed that both the Delhi Police and Delhi Traffic Police have worked in coordination with the concert organizers to manage road closures, traffic diversions, and parking logistics all to ensure a smooth and secure experience for thousands of fans expected to attend.
The event also marks a significant collaboration between Delhi Tourism and ticketing platform BookMyShow, who signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Friday to promote India’s emerging ‘concert economy’, signaling a broader push to attract major global acts to the country.
Tickets for the Delhi shows range from ₹4,000 to ₹30,000, with lower-priced Sunday tickets already sold out at the time of writing. Gates will open at 3 PM, with a DJ and supporting act warming up the crowd before Travis Scott takes the stage at 8 PM. The concert will start at 5 PM on both days. The minimum age requirement for entry is 10 years.
Following his Delhi performance, Travis Scott is scheduled to perform in Mumbai on November 19 at the Mahalaxmi Race Course, with ticket prices ranging from ₹7,000 to ₹35,000.
The concert comes just weeks after Travis made headlines in Ibiza, where he was reportedly denied entry to a private party under unclear circumstances, while actor Leonardo DiCaprio was momentarily held up for a police check outside the same venue.
As Travis Scott prepares to make his Indian debut, anticipation is building for what promises to be one of the biggest international music events of the year in India.
