Strong Winds Alert Issued for Bahrain

The Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications has issued a weather alert warning of strong winds expected across Bahrain. The advisory is in effect from 9:00 PM tonight, June 24, until 6:00 PM on Tuesday, June 25.
According to the forecast, gusty northwesterly winds may impact coastal and inland areas, potentially causing reduced visibility due to blowing dust and affecting sea conditions. Authorities have advised residents, especially seafarers and beachgoers, to exercise caution during this period.
The Meteorological Directorate has also warned that wind speeds may range from 18 to 25 knots, reaching up to 30 knots at times, particularly during the day. These conditions may lead to high waves and challenging navigation for small vessels.
Motorists are urged to drive carefully, especially in open areas where strong gusts may cause instability or poor visibility. Construction sites and outdoor structures should be secured to prevent potential hazards due to wind impact.
The ministry will continue to monitor weather developments and issue updates as necessary. Residents are encouraged to follow official channels and advisories for the latest information and to remain vigilant until the alert period ends.
