HH Shaikh Nasser Tops Individual Longest Drive at PRO-AM Event in Bahrain

His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa delivered an outstanding performance at the Bapco Energies Bahrain Championship, claiming first place in the individual Longest Drive competition on hole eight during the PRO-AM event held at the Royal Golf Club.

Competing alongside a mix of professional and amateur golfers, HH Shaikh Nasser showcased exceptional power and precision to secure the top position in one of the tournament’s most competitive individual challenges.

In addition to the individual achievement, Team Victorious, led by His Highness, finished third overall in the PRO-AM standings. The team featured prominent international golfers, including Irish professional Padraig Harrington, Spain’s Pablo Larrazabal, Moulay Abdullah Benzidan, and Mike Lorenzo-Vera, underscoring the strong global participation at the championship.

The event was attended by His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the General Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, as well as His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Supreme Council for Environment and Deputy Chairman of the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club High Committee.

Commenting on the championship, HH Shaikh Nasser praised the organisers and the Royal Golf Club for delivering a highly professional and competitive environment. He noted that the high standards of organisation enabled players to perform at their best and reflected Bahrain’s advanced capabilities in hosting major international sporting events.
