Gulf Air launches largest-ever ‘Takeoff Sale’ with 150,000 discounted tickets

Gulf Air, the national carrier of Bahrain, has announced its largest-ever promotion with the launch of the “Takeoff Sale,” offering 150,000 discounted tickets across its global network.
The limited-time sale begins at 8:30 am on February 26, 2026, and runs until March 4, 2026. The discounted fares are valid for travel between March 1 and November 30, 2026, giving passengers a wide window to plan their trips.
Tickets can be booked through the airline’s official website, gulfair.com, or via authorized travel agents in Bahrain.
The promotion features some of the airline’s lowest starting fares to a range of regional and international destinations. Sample one-way fares from Bahrain include Abu Dhabi from BD 15, London Gatwick from BD 35, Istanbul from BD 41, Cairo from BD 44, and Bangkok from BD 66. Seats are limited and subject to availability.
In preparation for increased seasonal demand during Ramadan, Gulf Air is also boosting its operations to Sri Lanka. The airline will increase weekly flights to Colombo from seven to ten between February 19 and March 19, 2026, offering greater flexibility for travelers.
Baggage allowance varies depending on the fare class. Falcon Gold passengers are generally entitled to check in two bags weighing up to 32 kilograms each, while standard economy fares typically include two pieces up to 23 kilograms per bag.
The Takeoff Sale is expected to generate strong demand as travelers look to secure competitive fares for both leisure and business travel throughout 2026.
