GCC Secretary General Participates in Digital Transformation Workshop

Riyadh, Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), attended a high-level workshop organised by the General Directorate of Digital Transformation and Information Technology. The workshop also included the participation of Assistant Secretaries General and heads of the General Secretariat’s organisational units.

During the workshop, participants reviewed the digital transformation initiatives implemented to date and discussed strategic directions for the future operating model. The focus was on enhancing decision-making processes and ensuring that digital initiatives align with the institutional requirements of the GCC General Secretariat.

The Secretary General emphasised the importance of assessing and upgrading the digital infrastructure across the GCC General Secretariat and its affiliated organisational units. He highlighted that strengthening digital capabilities is crucial to keeping pace with the rapid advancements in technology and ensuring effective institutional performance.
