Bahrain’s Streets and Landmarks Adorned for National Day Celebrations
Manama - Streets, roads, buildings and prominent landmarks across the Kingdom of Bahrain have been illuminated in red and white as the nation marks its National Day celebrations and the 26th anniversary of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s accession to the throne, alongside accompanying national events.
Decorations spanning all governorates include illuminated façades on high-rise towers, commercial complexes, and government and private institutions. Many displays feature images of His Majesty the King and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, along with excerpts from His Majesty’s speeches delivered on various national occasions. These visuals highlight the leadership’s pride in the contributions of Bahraini citizens and reaffirm the Kingdom’s commitment to sustainable development.

Intersections, public squares, trees and palm-lined streets have been transformed with vibrant lighting arrangements, creating striking visual scenes across urban areas.
The festive atmosphere is further enhanced by congratulatory messages and national slogans reflecting Bahrain’s values, identity and deep-rooted attachment to the homeland.
