Bahraini rapper Flipperachi, whose real name is Hussam Mohammed Aseem, has suddenly become a breakout name in India after his energetic track FA9LA was featured in the Ranveer Singh–starrer Dhurandhar. The song plays during actor Akshaye Khanna’s powerful entry as Rahman Dakait, instantly catching the audience’s attention and adding a striking layer of swagger to the scene. Ranveer Singh himself shared the clip on Instagram, calling it “THAT track,” which sparked an overnight frenzy as fans searched for the full version. Originally released in 2024, FA9LA has now shot to new heights, crossing 7 million views and becoming Flipperachi’s most successful track to date. 

Known across the Arab world for his bold Khaleeji hip-hop style, Flipperachi has built an impressive career over the years. Born in 1989, he has collaborated with major international artists including The Game, Shaggy, and even basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal, with whom he recently worked on a special soundtrack for Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island. His influence earned him the title of Bahraini Artist of the Year in 2024, strengthening his position as one of the region’s leading hip-hop voices. With popular tracks like Ee Laa, Shoofha, Shino AlKalam Hatha, and Nayda, he has long been a star in the Middle East but FA9LA has now taken him global.

Meanwhile, Dhurandhar itself has been performing exceptionally well, crossing ₹160 crore worldwide within just three days of release. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film features an ensemble cast including Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, and Sara Arjun, and draws inspiration from real-life events like the Kandahar hijack and the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. With the film’s success and FA9LA’s viral momentum, Flipperachi now finds himself at the center of a major cultural crossover, introducing Khaleeji rap to millions of new listeners.
