Bahrain suspends court sessions on April 1–2, to resume April 5

The Ministry of Justice Bahrain, in coordination with the Supreme Judicial Council Bahrain, has announced the suspension of all court sessions across the Kingdom of Bahrain on April 1 and 2, 2026.
The suspension applies to all types of cases, including civil, commercial, labor, and Sharia proceedings. Authorities said the decision is aimed at ensuring smooth procedures and maintaining proper workflow within the judicial system.
According to the announcement, court sessions will resume on Sunday, April 5, 2026, with normal operations expected to continue thereafter.
Officials noted that the temporary suspension is part of precautionary and administrative measures, reflecting efforts to manage court operations efficiently during the current period.
The ministry affirmed its commitment to ensuring continuity in judicial services while maintaining the highest standards of organization and accessibility for all court users.
