‘Wicked’ Star Jonathan Bailey Crowned People Magazine’s ‘Sexiest Man Alive’

LOS ANGELES- English actor Jonathan Bailey, known for his standout roles in Bridgerton and Wicked, has been named People magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive” for 2025. The announcement was made Monday night on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
The 37-year-old star, who reprises his role as Prince Fiyero in the upcoming Wicked: For Good, joins an elite list of past honorees including Chris Hemsworth, George Clooney, and John Krasinski last year’s winner.
Bailey described the recognition as both “a huge honor” and “completely absurd,” joking that he had only told his dog, Benson, about the news. “Obviously, I’m incredibly flattered,” he told People with a laugh.
Beyond his musical achievements, Bailey has solidified his Hollywood presence with performances in Jurassic World: Rebirth and the steamy period drama Bridgerton, where he became a global fan favorite.
