iDo: Abu Dhabi Launches AI-Powered Digital Marriage Contracts – No Paper, No Office Visits

Abu Dhabi, UAE – October 17

Couples in Abu Dhabi can now say “I do”completely online thanks to a new AI-powered digital marriage contract service launched on the TAMM platform.

Unveiled at GITEX Global 2025 at the Abu Dhabi Government Pavilion, the service eliminates the need for paper forms or in-person appointments. It allows couples to apply, complete, certify, and authenticate marriage contracts entirely through a single digital interface.

The initiative is a collaboration between the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) and the Department of Government Enablement, supporting the emirate’s ambition to create a seamless, people-first digital ecosystem.

“This marks a significant milestone in our digital judicial transformation,” said Counselor Yousef Saeed Al Abri, Under-Secretary of ADJD.

Using TAMM, users enter the details for the groom, bride, guardian, and witnesses, upload the required documents, and verify information instantly via UAE Pass and linked government databases, including pre-marital medical data.

Once verified and approved, a digitally certified marriage contract is issued with options to authenticate internationally and download instantly.

“The AI-powered TAMM platform allows us to share one of life’s most meaningful moments with our community through a fast, simple, and secure experience,” said Dr Mohamed Abdelhamid Al Askar, Director-General of TAMM.

This innovation supports Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s vision of delivering smarter, more efficient public services that elevate Abu Dhabi’s global competitiveness.

The service not only streamlines the process but also enhances accuracy, sustainability, and security. Officials confirmed that future plans include expanding TAMM to offer more life-event and judicial services under a unified, intelligent framework.

Abu Dhabi continues to solidify its place as a regional leader in next-generation digital governance.
