Demi Lovato Announces Ninth Album It’s Not That Deep, Dropping October 24

Pop star Demi Lovato has officially announced her ninth studio album, titled It’s Not That Deep, set to release on October 24, 2025 via DLG Recordings/Island Records, according to Variety.

Lovato has already teased the upcoming album’s dance-pop direction with singles “Fast” and “Here All Night,” giving fans a taste of her upbeat new era. The album will feature 11 tracks and is executive-produced by Zhone, marking a noticeable shift from the emotionally intense music of her previous records.

“This music is a perfect reflection of where I’m at today,” Lovato shared in an official statement. “I had such an incredible time making this album with Zhone, and it was such a freeing experience to let loose and have fun with it.”

Reflecting on the creative process, the singer added:

“With my past eras, I often wrote cathartic music about heavy topics that I needed to process. When I got back in the studio this time around, those songs just weren’t resonating anymore because I’m not in that place in life. I’m happy, I’m in love, and I just want to enjoy life and have fun. I realized it’s not that deep anymore and that became the ethos for this album.”

Described as an album made for late nights and dancefloors, It’s Not That Deep signals a joyful, celebratory chapter in Lovato’s career. She revealed the album title and cover art on Instagram on Monday, sparking excitement across her fanbase.

Fans can now look forward to a lighter, more liberating sound as Demi embraces her happiness and invites the world to dance along.
