Bahrain International Airport awarded 5‑star Skytrax rating for fifth consecutive year

Bahrain International Airport (BIA) has once again been recognized with the prestigious 5‑Star Airport rating by Skytrax, marking the fifth consecutive year the airport has received this top global accolade. The award highlights BIA’s ongoing commitment to providing world-class services, advanced facilities, and an exceptional passenger experience.

Skytrax, the UK-based international air transport rating organization, evaluates airports worldwide across multiple criteria, including customer service, security and immigration efficiency, retail and dining options, cleanliness, and overall passenger satisfaction. The 5-Star Airport rating is considered one of the highest marks of quality in the aviation industry.

Ahmed Janahi, Acting Chief Executive Officer and Chief of Airport Operations at Bahrain Airport Company (BAC), expressed pride in the achievement. He stated that the recognition reflects the dedication of airport staff, collaboration with partner organizations, and the broader airport community, all of whom work tirelessly to maintain high operational and service standards.
