Aramex and Bahrain Post launch Kingdom’s first nationwide electronic parcel box network

Aramex, the global logistics and transportation provider, has partnered with Bahrain Post to launch the Kingdom’s first nationwide network of electronic parcel boxes, introducing a smart, automated delivery system designed to eliminate delays and enhance customer convenience.

Owned by Bahrain Post and powered by Aramex’s advanced logistics technology, the new system offers secure, real-time tracked deliveries that customers can collect at their convenience from strategically placed terminals across Bahrain.

The launch comes amid the rapid growth of e-commerce in the Gulf region, where online retail sales are projected to reach $50 billion by 2025. The surge in parcel volumes has created strong demand for automated, contactless delivery solutions, with experts estimating such systems can reduce delivery costs by up to 30% while improving flexibility and customer satisfaction.

Unlike traditional delivery methods that rely on fixed delivery schedules or in-person collection counters, the electronic parcel boxes operate 24/7, offering real-time tracking and mobile notifications. Customers are instantly alerted when their parcels are ready for collection, giving them complete control and visibility over their deliveries.
