0Abu Dhabi Introduces New Parking Regulations in Mohammed Bin Zayed City

Abu Dhabi has announced new parking regulations for commercial areas in Mohammed Bin Zayed City, set to take effect from December 15. The initiative is being implemented by Q Mobility, the authority responsible for managing and developing public parking across the emirate.

The rollout, supervised by the Integrated Transport Centre under the Department of Municipalities and Transport, will begin with sectors ME9, ME10, ME11, and ME12, and will be introduced in phases to ensure a smooth transition.

Q Mobility stated that the new regulations aim to optimise parking space usage while improving the overall user experience by providing organised and safe parking areas. During the initial phase, parking will remain free, giving residents and visitors time to adapt to the new system.

The move is part of Abu Dhabi’s broader efforts to enhance urban mobility, streamline traffic flow, and provide modern, structured parking solutions in growing commercial hubs.
