Saudi Contestants Win Six Medals at WorldSkills GCC Doha 2025
Saudi contestants achieved remarkable success at the fifth edition of WorldSkills GCC Doha 2025, earning six medals including two gold, one silver, and three bronze across a range of technical and vocational skill categories. The competition, held in Doha, Qatar, from October 26 to 30, brought together talented youth from all six GCC countries: Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
Represented by the General Secretariat of the National Skills Competition, the Saudi delegation featured nearly 20 skilled participants from various regions of the Kingdom. These contestants represented the nation’s leading technical and vocational education and training institutions, highlighting Saudi Arabia’s growing investment in youth talent and professional skills development under Vision 2030.
Saudi competitors took part in several key categories, including mobile robotics, electrical installations, refrigeration and air conditioning, graphic design, web design, mechanical engineering CAD, welding, and electronics. Their achievements underscored the Kingdom’s strong progress in applied science, engineering, and digital design disciplines.
While specific medal details were not immediately disclosed, Saudi participants distinguished themselves across multiple fields.
