Free Careem Bike Rentals for All Dubai Ride Participants This Year
All participants of the Dubai Ride will be able to enjoy free bike rentals this year, thanks to a partnership between Careem and Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). Riders can unlock a free single-trip pass on the Careem app using the promo code DR25 and collect bikes from two pop-up stations Entrance A at the Museum of the Future (Trade Centre Street) and Entrance E at Lower FCS (Financial Centre Street) or from any of Careem Bike’s 200+ stations across Dubai. Rentals will be available on a first-come, first-served basis from 3am to 8am, with extra-time fees waived for rides exceeding 45 minutes during this window.
Hussain Al Banna, CEO of the Traffic and Roads Agency at RTA, said the initiative underscores Dubai Ride’s role as a cornerstone of the Dubai Fitness Challenge while promoting cycling as part of the city’s efforts to strengthen active and sustainable mobility. Bassel Al Nahlaoui, Chief Business Officer at Careem, highlighted that this is the fourth year of the partnership, which aims to make the event more accessible to the community and encourage cycling as a healthy, eco-friendly mode of transport.
This collaboration not only supports Dubai’s vision of becoming a bicycle-friendly city but also makes it easier for residents and visitors to participate in one of the city’s most popular fitness and community events.
