Annai Tamil Mandram and Indian Club Commemorate International Yoga Day with Enthusiastic Participation
In celebration of International Yoga Day, Annai Tamil Mandram, one of Bahrain’s prominent social service organizations, joined hands with the Indian Club to host a special yoga event on June 20, 2025, at the Indian Club Indoor Hall.
The program commenced with a warm welcome by Mr. Arul Ganesan, Assistant Treasurer of Annai Tamil Mandram. The session was led by renowned Yoga Master Mr. Saminath Sekar, supported by a team of experienced and certified yoga instructors. Attendees were guided through a series of yoga asanas, pranayama (breathing techniques), and meditation practices designed to promote physical well-being and mental clarity.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from people of all age groups, reflecting the growing awareness and appreciation for yoga as a holistic approach to health. The peaceful atmosphere, combined with expert guidance, created an uplifting experience for all present.
Mr. Senthil G.K, President of Annai Tamil Mandram, took the opportunity to recognize the contributions of the yoga instructors by presenting them with certificates of appreciation and thoughtful gifts. His address highlighted the importance of incorporating yoga into daily life to foster wellness, balance, and inner peace.
The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Mr. M. Palanichamy, General Secretary of the Mandram. All participants were presented with certificates, gifts, and refreshments as tokens of appreciation for their involvement.
