Hilton Bahrain Unveils Majestic "The Dome by STC" for Ramadan, Reinforces Commitment to Green Initiatives
Manama, Bahrain – 23 February 2025 – Last night, Hilton Bahrain launched "The Dome by STC," a captivating new venue adjacent to the hotel, offering a unique Ramadan experience. The Dome by STC, with its immersive "dimmed starry night" atmosphere, presented guests with a diverse culinary journey, featuring live cooking stations and a dedicated outdoor shisha area. The venue also served as a platform to showcase Bahrain's rich heritage, featuring a mini souq with local vendors, handicrafts, and traditional clothing, providing valuable support to the local community. Beyond the immersive experience, Hilton Bahrain reaffirmed its commitment to sustainability through the continuation of participation with Hilton’s Green Ramadan initiative. In partnership with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) West Asia, Winnow, and Goumbook, the hotel is utilizing the Winnow System to monitor and reduce food waste, employing data-driven strategies for sustainable food management. Hilton Bahrain also strengthened its commitment to community support and environmental responsibility. Through a collaboration with Bahrain Food Bank by redistributing leftover food from the buffet to those in need and with Peninsula Farms, transforming unavoidable food waste into nutrient-rich compost, contributing to local agriculture.
The hotel’s commitment to sustainability extends to its culinary offerings, with a focus on local sourcing. By partnering with Bahraini farmers and fishermen, Hilton Bahrain is featuring fresh, seasonal ingredients in its Iftar and Ghabga buffets, minimizing its environmental impact.
