In a heartbreaking turn of events, beloved Pakistani child star Umer Shah passed away on September 15, 2025, at the age of 15 due to cardiac arrest. Known for his charming appearances alongside his elder brother Ahmed Shah on popular shows like Jeeto Pakistan and Shan-e-Ramazan, Umer had become a household name known for his joy, innocence, and infectious energy. 

The news was confirmed by Ahmed Shah in an emotional Instagram post, asking fans to pray for his late brother and their grieving family. Tributes poured in across social media as the entertainment industry and fans expressed their shock and sorrow.

Fahad Mustafa, host of Jeeto Pakistan, shared his disbelief, writing that he was "speechless" and heartbroken over the young star’s untimely departure. Journalist and host Waseem Badami, who had frequently featured the Shah brothers on Shan-e-Ramazan, revealed that doctors confirmed Umer had died in the early hours of Monday due to cardiac arrest.

Veteran actor Adnan Siddiqui described Umer as a “beam of light, joy, and innocence,” while actor Aijaz Aslam remembered him as “a little angel” who brought smiles to everyone on set and at home.
