Bahrain: MOI Showjumping Team Wins First Place in National Day Championship-

The Ministry of Interior’s (MOI) showjumping team secured first place in the National Day Showjumping Championship, organised by the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF). The event was held at the Military Sports Union Arena in Al Raffa and formed part of the Kingdom’s National Day celebrations.

On this occasion, Brigadier Abdulaziz Mayouf Al Rumaihi, Supervisor of the MOI showjumping team, extended his congratulations to General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, on the team’s achievement. He highlighted that the success reflects the strong institutional support provided to sports teams within the ministry.

Brigadier Al Rumaihi praised the close and continuous follow-up by Lieutenant General Tariq Al Hassan, Chief of Police, noting that this ongoing support for sports teams participating in local, regional, and international championships has played a key role in achieving notable sporting results.

He also commended His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah bin Isa Al Khalifa, President of BREEF, and Shaikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Show Jumping Committee, for their efforts in preparing, organising, and supervising the championship, which ensured its successful execution.

Additionally, Brigadier Al Rumaihi expressed his appreciation to the Military Sports Union for its role in preparing and hosting the event, contributing to a high standard of competition and organisation.

The victory underscores the Ministry of Interior’s commitment to supporting sports excellence and promoting equestrian activities in Bahrain, particularly during national celebrations that highlight the Kingdom’s cultural and sporting heritage.
