Fintech Forward 2026 has concluded at Exhibition World Bahrain with more than 60 memorandums of understanding, strategic agreements and key announcements, Bahrain News Agency reported.

The fourth edition attracted over 2,900 local and international participants. Its programme included a BBK digital-ledger pilot with ARRAY Innovation, exploring potential uses such as tokenised payments and programmable settlement.

National Bank of Bahrain also joined BENEFIT’s Trade Finance Registry pilot as its first participating bank and anchor partner. A new Tech Talent Hub featured Citi, J.P. Morgan and KPMG.

The combined total includes announcements and preliminary agreements, not 60 completed commercial transactions. The closing results add to Tamkeen’s support for six Bahraini startups at the event.
