Dubai’s forthcoming WETEX exhibition will examine how artificial intelligence and changing working practices can support health and safety, according to an announcement reported by Emirates News Agency on 10 October.
Organised by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, the exhibition’s 28th edition is scheduled for 20–22 October 2026 at Dubai World Trade Centre. Its Health and Safety Hub will include a conference bringing together specialists in wellbeing, emergency preparedness and occupational risks.
Announced discussions range from trust and transparency in AI systems to psychological safety, workforce wellbeing and the use of analytics to inform prevention. Robotics and practical applications of emerging technologies also feature in the programme.
The sessions are planned activities for the upcoming exhibition. Their inclusion sets out areas for discussion rather than evidence that particular technologies have already improved workplace outcomes.
