Udta Teer has released its first song, “Bhootni Ka”, featuring Ayushmann Khurrana, Sara Ali Khan and members of the film’s ensemble cast.
The track introduces the music of the upcoming Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment film, following the release of its trailer. The song is available on Sony Music India’s official YouTube channel.
The team behind the song
“Bhootni Ka” is composed by Sachin-Jigar, with lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya. Kaka, Twinkle Aggrwal and Bhattacharya provide the vocals.
In a press release shared by Media House on 28 September, the composers described building the arrangement around the changing rhythm and humour of the lyrics. They said the challenge was to keep the track catchy while allowing its pace and sound to take unexpected turns.
Kaka said recording the song made him curious about the story behind the film’s characters. Twinkle described matching the energy of the lyrics and her fellow singer during the recording.
The musical sequence also features cast members including Rahul Bose, Gulshan Grover and Ram Kapoor, according to the announcement.
Udta Teer release date
Directed by Aakash Kaushik and backed by Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment, Udta Teer is scheduled to reach cinemas on 9 October 2026, according to the film’s press release.
The producers are Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Guneet Monga Kapoor and Achin Jain.
