The fourth season of Dubai-based anthology The Reel Files has unveiled its official trailer, with Bollywood actor Sohail Khan joining the launch and offering his support for the project, according to press material supplied to Gulf Good News.

Created by filmmaker and producer Zenofar Fathima, the series has developed from short-form horror stories into a broader anthology. The new season brings together Abdu Rozek, Ibrahim Al Samadi, Fathima and Ahmad Al Marzooqi, known for Chai with Ahmed.

A new chapter for a Dubai production

The season is directed by Afra Farhana and Zenofar Fathima. Its first story is titled The Conjure. At the trailer launch, attended by media representatives and influencers, Khan praised the trailer and expressed openness to a future collaboration with Fathima, the supplied statement said.

The previous season featured actor Rahul Dev and explored a darker psychological tone. Fathima described the latest instalment as another opportunity to experiment with storytelling and collaboration.

“What started as a simple experiment with short-form storytelling has grown into something much bigger than I initially imagined. Every season has allowed us to experiment, collaborate and push ourselves creatively.”

Release details still to come

The trailer has been released, but the supplied announcement does not confirm an OTT platform or a premiere date. Those details are expected in a subsequent announcement.
