Thirty members of Saudi Arabia’s Mawhiba community are taking part in the World Petroleum Congress in Riyadh, gaining experience alongside international energy-sector delegations.
In an announcement on 13 October, the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity said the participating members specialise in energy. The congress runs through 15 October.
Connecting talent with industry
By accompanying visiting delegations, participants have opportunities to apply their knowledge in an international professional setting, learn about developments in the energy sector and build contacts with specialists from other countries.
Mawhiba said the experience forms part of its community’s continuing support for people who have benefited from the foundation’s programmes as they progress through education and professional life.
The initiative places the emphasis on practical exposure and professional connections, giving members an opportunity to demonstrate their capabilities at an international gathering.
