Kuwait’s education story is on display at the Ministry of Education’s Irth exhibition, running from 19 to 22 October 2026 in the ministry’s lobby.
According to the ministry’s 19 October report, the exhibition traces the journey from traditional kuttab schooling to modern technology and the possibilities of artificial intelligence in education.
A shared educational heritage
Displays and specialist workshops explore changing approaches to teaching and learning. The historical account also covers the Iraqi invasion and the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Art education forms part of the exhibition, with paintings, metal and wooden models, textiles, screen prints and works using stamps, moulds and inks. The ministry describes these as outcomes of training involving art education supervisors and trainees.
The exhibition connects national educational heritage with current developments, connecting generations with Kuwait’s education history.
